Club Deportivo Guadalajara, S.A. de C.V. is pleased to invite all amateur soccer teams that wish to participate in the 19th Copa Chivas 2012 Tournament, which is approved by the Mexican Soccer Federation, in the amateur division.

Information about the tournament:

PARTICIPATING TEAMS:

All teams affiliated to the Mexican Soccer Federation or its respective State Associations, Local Leagues, etc. are invited.

DATE:

Registration will be from July 12 to July 15, 2012 (See Operational Center)

The Tournament will take place on July 16 to July 21, 2012.

SITES:

Fields at Mundo Fútbol: Bernabéu, Wembley, Maracaná, y San Ciro, at Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco  (see Sites )

DIVISIONS:

PONY:                  2002, 2003, and 2004/2005

JUNIOR:               1999, 2000 and 2001

YOUTH:                1993/1994, 1995/1996, 1997 and 1998

(Players born after January 1 for each year)

REGISTRATION:

Registration will take place on the tournament’s website at www.eventoschivas.com.mx , team representatives should fill out the entire form. (See REGISTRATION)

Once teams are registered on the internet, coaches can make player changes until July 4^th, 2012. Only players registered before July 14^th will be allowed to play in the tournament.

Important date:

The deadline to register (on the tournament’s page on the internet)  and to pay for registration is Tuesday, July 10^th at 16:00 hrs. Any team that registers after the deadline will be receive only 50% of all refunds, if needed.

ACCREDITATION:

Accreditation will take place from July  12 to July 15, from 9:00 to 18:00 hrs at the Operational Center, located at the Maracaná site, at Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco. (see OPERATIONAL CENTER)

FEES:

JUNIORS:       1999, 2000 and  2001                              $12,000.00

YOUTH:         1993/1994, 1995/1996, 1997 and 1998       $12,500.00

Teams that register before May 31st, 2012, will get a discount of $1,000.00 (MXN) at the time of registration.

CANCELATIONS:

100% of refunds until May 31, 2012

50% of refunds until July 2, 2012

There will be no refunds after July 2, 2012.

Referees will be assigned by the State College of Referees and the Mexican Soccer Federation, amateur division.
